Grove Readies RT Crane for ConExpo

WRITTEN BY

Grove Crane announces the arrival of its latest rough-terrain crane, the 75-ton capacity RT875E. Look for this newest generation of RT cranes, following the 875C series, at ConExpo in March in Las Vegas, Nev. The RT875E features a four-section, full power 41- to 128-foot MEGAFORM boom, a 33- to 56-foot offsetable bi-fold lattice swingaway extension, and two optional 20-foot lattice extension inserts to reach a maximum tip height of 232 feet. A double-acting hydraulic cylinder with an integral holding valve elevates the boom from -3 to 78. The crane’s 18,000-pound counterweight is hydraulically installed and removed.
