Liebherr-Werk Nenzing GmbH, Nenzing, Austria, celebrated its 35th anniversary September 28-October 1. As part of the festivities, more than 20,000 visitors participated in an open house of the company’s Nenzing factory. The open house included company tours, machinery presentations, multi-vision shows, and information booths.
The company tour spanned all production facilities and included exhibitions of fully automated robot manufacturing techniques, new developments in control and drive technology, deep foundation machines, mobile harbour cranes or offshore cranes and the first hydraulic hybrid drive Pactronic for mobile harbour cranes, the Active Heave Compensation (AHC) system, and new crawler crane pendant straps made of carbon fibre.
