The cranes wheels punched through the tarmac into an underground void

The crane, a four axle Liebherr owned by contractor PPI Gerhard Chrobok was getting ready to set up in a parking area in order to work on a new roundabout that the company is building. It had its counterweight installed when the incident occurred. No one was injured.
