The accident happened near Northeast 10th Street and Hiwassee Road in Choctaw. Workers said a construction crew was repairing a bridge when part of a crane fell on the man’s head. Sky5 flew over the scene, and emergency personnel were taking a man to an ambulance by stretcher. “They were pretty quick about getting him out from underneath it and getting him loaded up,” said witness Harvey Cobb, who rushed from across the street to see what was going on. “There was quite a bit of blood, from what I could tell.”
