A man was saved by his harness earlier this week after one side of a suspended platform collapsed while he was working on a 15 storey building in Coronado, California.
The man – fortunately wearing his harness and lanyard – was left hanging from the platform after the cable or the motor on the left side of the platform failed causing it to drop down on the remaining cable.
Fire crews were able to pull the man to safety after arriving on the scene. The man was unharmed in the incident.
