A tower crane fell around 36 storeys yesterday in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, after some of the crane’s counterweight fell off.
The crane parts fell on four cars crushing them, but no serious injuries or fatalities were reported, this in spite of heavy midday traffic. The crane was working on a site at Jalan Binjai.
An investigation is underway to establish the cause of the incident.
